Restoring Vā centers the relational measure of justice: repair the space between people. We convene structured, culturally grounded hui/talanoa to acknowledge harm, clarify needs and obligations, and co-create agreements that rebuild trust. Rather than focusing only on incidents, we map the wider networks impacted by harm and plan for reintegration and maintenance of the vā. Outcomes emphasize accountability with dignity, practical reparation, and ongoing support so parties can move forward with renewed connection and shared understanding.
